KIN Application Form

We are committed to developing teams that can accomplish identified goals and make a difference in their state. Often people come together to work on broad initiatives that are longer range and, while very important, often cannot be accomplished with the resources available. We are outcome oriented, we are family focused, and we are here to support your ideas and goals. With the right plan we know your goals can be reached.

SAT members will be expected to meet (in person or electronically) and collectively brainstorm and identify problems which are important and can be addressed with human, fiscal and/or material resources within the coming 12 months. Each team will be expected to develop a plan of action within 6 months after the initial SAT meeting. The Family Support Center will provide technical assistance with development of the plan of action and assist teams in careful deliberation and discussion of tasks, priorities, resources and time. Each state team will be provided with assistance to support them with this effort.

We estimate that SAT members need to be available for at least 120 hours a year, approximately 10 hours per month.

Our goal is to have the SAT assembled and members approved within 30 days after participation in the regional information teleconference. We will work collaboratively with the SAT to develop work plans in 90 days so that the proposed TA can be approved and planning for implementation of TA and its delivery can be completed 120 days later.
